Key Responsibilities:
- Providing holistic, 1:1 support to a client with a significant seizure disorder and associated difficulties of intractable epilepsy .
- Strict and meticulous implementation of a medical ketogenic diet. This requires all food to be weighed to the gram and prepared according to specific macronutrient ratios.
- Accurate and vigilant administration of medication, including active monitoring to ensure medication is taken as prescribed.
- Following detailed care plans with precision to manage seizure activity and maintain the client's health and safety.
- Maintaining clear and consistent communication with the family and support team.
About You:
- You are an experienced and qualified support worker, enrolled nurse, or registered nurse with a genuine passion for complex care.
- You possess an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to follow complex protocols without deviation.
- You are reliable, trustworthy, and understand the critical importance of your role in a person's life.
- You are resilient, patient, and able to respond calmly and effectively in challenging situations.
