Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our team.
This role will provide exceptional support to our employees, serving as the initial point of contact for human resources-related matters.
The successful candidate will partner with our leadership team to provide expert advice on industrial relations, employee engagement, learning and development, and workforce planning.
Main Responsibilities:
* People Processes Administration: Take ownership and responsibility for the administration and project management of people processes hotel-wide.
* Recruitment and On-boarding: Lead, mentor, and guide hotel leaders during the recruitment and on-boarding process for all new colleagues.
* Candidate Progression: Provide MyRecruit support to Leaders by assisting with posting and sourcing applicants and actively progressing candidate applications through MyRecruit.
* On-Boarding and Brand Orientation: Take ownership of the On-Boarding and Brand Orientation delivery for new colleagues supporting Departmental Trainers and hotel leaders.
* Employee Retention: Champion new hire & exit interview process and utilize data & feedback to drive employee retention.
* Leadership Support: Provide advice and coaching to leaders in conjunction with HRM on hotel policy, performance management, and industrial relations matters.
* Learning and Development: Plan, prepare, and manage the People Processes delivery in partnership with the HRM and leadership team.
* Training Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate Learning and Development programs and accurately track and record training attendance.
* Payroll Support: Partner with the National payroll team regarding colleague pay enquiries and assist colleagues and leaders with Collective Agreement questions, interpretation, and application.
