Salary range: $149,739 - $173,174 + super

About the Role
The Department of Customer Service (DCS) is seeking a skilled Manager Workplace Strategy to lead strategic workplace accommodation planning across a diverse and evolving property portfolio.
In this role, you will deliver expert workplace advice, oversee space planning processes, and develop integrated accommodation plans that support organisational priorities and modern ways of working.
You will act as a critical liaison across key initiatives, ensuring consistent, data‑driven planning aligned with long‑term business and workforce needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead workplace and accommodation strategy development using data‑driven analysis.
* Drive portfolio‑wide planning, space optimisation and utilisation initiatives.
* Develop innovative workplace solutions.
* Provide clear communication to senior leaders on accommodation needs and trends.
* Establish accommodation standards, benchmarks and test‑fit solutions.
About You
You are a strategic thinker with strong analytical capability and experience delivering workplace or accommodation planning programs in complex organisations. Your capability to engage diverse stakeholders, analyse complex data, and design future‑focused workplace solutions supports your leadership in driving strategic accommodation outcomes.
You will demonstrate:
* Expertise in workplace strategy, planning and analysis.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, with an ability to influence senior stakeholders.
* Experience leading teams and managing competing priorities in fast‑paced environments.
* Ability to develop practical, innovative solutions that enhance workplace experience and optimise use of space.
