Early Childhood Educator - Permanent Part-Time Position
About us
Barossa Valley Community Kids (BVCK) is a 40-place, not-for-profit, community-based early learning service located in Tanunda, caring for children across two learning environments. Our size allows for meaningful relationships, visible leadership, and genuine collaboration.
Our practice is inspired by Reggio Emilia principles and nature-based learning, where children are seen as capable, curious, and deeply connected to the world around them. We view the environment as a “third teacher,” creating rich indoor and outdoor spaces that invite inquiry, creativity, risk-taking, and a strong sense of belonging. We are committed to reflective, high-quality practice and to embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives through authentic connection to Country, culture, and community.
At BVCK, you are not simply a team member — you are part of a family and a professional, supportive community. Our dedicated Parent Committee works in partnership with our leadership team to guide and strengthen our service. We value every educator’s voice and are committed to fostering an inclusive culture where staff feel respected, supported, and empowered. We believe that when educators feel valued and fulfilled, children and families truly thrive.
