The Opportunity
* 12-month assignment with a strong potential for extension.
* Hourly rate of $55.24 + super.
* Hybrid work arrangement based in Geelong.
Our client is currently redeveloping its internal communications platform. As an Intranet Officer, you will be a key part of the team responsible for maintaining the current site while supporting a transition through significant change. You will work within the Strategic Communications Division to deliver audience-centered communications that drive staff connection and collaboration.
What You'll Do
* Content Management: Develop and publish intranet content that aligns with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (conforming to at least AA level), relevant style guides, and plain English standards.
* Stakeholder Support: Advise and support various business areas on intranet best practices and accessibility, using intranet performance to guide your discussions.
* Technical Assistance: Handle intranet publishing requests via a service desk, either by actioning them directly or triaging them to other team members.
* Project Contribution: Assist in the redevelopment of the organization's intranet, which includes migrating and uplifting content from the old platform to the new one, with a focus on document accessibility.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the Strategic Communications division and other key internal stakeholders to achieve business and communication objectives.

* Expert Communicator: You are skilled at communicating with diverse stakeholders and can manage moderately complex issues with tact and sensitivity.
