Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner
This role is pivotal within our People and Culture Team, providing expert HR support, guidance, and coaching across a broad portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives to drive scale and transformation in alignment with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing and executing comprehensive strategies for Talent Acquisition, securing top talent who embody the company's core values.
* Providing proactive and professional advice to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and employee relations, ensuring empathy and procedural fairness at all times.
* Conducting thorough workplace investigations, gathering information to form well-considered recommendations and advice.
* Contributing actively to departmental change initiatives to improve HR agility, processes, and documentation, while fostering an inclusive, supportive work environment.
* Executing end-to-end recruitment, employing innovative strategies to attract top talent.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Relevant tertiary qualifications, minimally Cert IV HR or Bachelor's degree.
* Minimum 5 years' experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar generalist HR role within heavy industry.
* Adaptable and inclusive, with an ability to connect and build trust-based relationships and collaborate effectively with business leaders and employees at all levels.
* An ethical and commercially astute practitioner who demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making skills.
* Proficient in HR Information Systems and data analysis.
* Thorough understanding of employment legislation and best practices in HR.
* FIRST AID and MENTAL FIRST AID ACCREDITATION (or willingness to receive training).
