SENIOR PROCUREMENT MANAGER The Senior Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and managing strategic sourcing and the entire category and supplier relationship management process for all Allianz spend categories. The focus is on high-value and high-risk procurements, while also supporting lower tier procurements. The role involves developing and implementing category strategies that optimize financial and non-financial procurement outcomes, ensuring solutions are commercially beneficial and aligned with both local and global procurement policies. About the role Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders to understand business objectives, forecast demand, and engage them in category management to develop sustainable procurement strategies that optimize financial and non-financial benefits aligned with business needs. Document commercial strategies to optimize value, ensure sustainable supply, meet ESG goals, and mitigate risks. Create initiatives and targets for benefit delivery, with a roadmap including owners, actions, and milestones, and secure senior leadership approval for category plans. Maintain a sourcing activity forecast aligned with business needs and market conditions, regularly engage with Category Managers and stakeholders to plan market engagement, and track and report on the sourcing pipeline using data-driven insights for strategic decisions. Enhance procurement processes by identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and standards, managing Category Managers for unified management across Allianz categories, and fostering strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. About you Possess a bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or Finance, with extensive experience in category management or procurement, including expertise in developing and executing category strategies to optimize value and mitigate risks. Demonstrated proficiency in executing end-to-end sourcing initiatives, contract negotiation, and management, with skills in financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure supplier compliance with service levels and quality standards. Strong knowledge of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), procurement regulations, corporate governance, and ability to assess market trends for strategic decision-making, using data-driven insights to measure procurement effectiveness and establish KPIs. Exceptional project management and leadership skills to lead cross-functional teams, drive category initiatives, and enhance operational efficiencies, with a focus on process improvement, stakeholder collaboration, and effective communication across all levels.
