Your new role

We are seeking candidates available to work on a full‑time ongoing roster while engaged on a casual contract. In this role, you will carry out efficient and effective parking patrols, along with parking and road‑related enforcement activities, in accordance with relevant legislation, Council policies, procedures, and work practices.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, accessibility, and amenity of the LGA and public spaces. In this role, you will:

* Enforce parking regulations in line with legislation and Council policies.
* Provide excellent customer service to the community.
* Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic and evolving team.
* Contribute to protecting and enhancing the amenity, safety, and wellbeing of the community.
* Work over a seven-day roster which will include weekends and public holidays

Please note, a successful appointment in this position will require your willingness to undergo, and successfully obtain clearance from, a National Police Check.

What you'll need to succeed

* Demonstrated commitment to delivering high‑quality customer service
* Engaging with members of the public in a respectful, calm and professional manner, demonstrating discretion, maintaining confidentiality, and applying effective de‑escalation techniques
* Ability to understand, interpret and apply the NSW Road Rules and other relevant legislation, policies and procedures with accuracy, accountability and professionalism.
* Proven ability to work independently, maintaining accuracy and efficiency while managing responsibilities within required timeframes, guidelines and service standards.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity, professionalism and customer‑centred service.
* A valid Class C Driver Licence, maintained at all times.

* Availability to work full-time hours to include morning and afternoon shifts as part of a rotating roster.
