Variety believes all kids deserve a fair go no matter what their ability or circumstance. We empower children in WA who are sick, disadvantaged or living with disability to live, laugh and learn. We provide scholarships, programs, experiences and grants to those who need it most!
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to support our diverse range of events. The Volunteer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of events by assisting with a variety of tasks. If you enjoy working in dynamic environments, have a knack for multitasking, and are eager to contribute to our community, wed love to have you on board!
Responsibilities
* Event Setup and Pack Down: Assist with the setup and takedown of event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, decorations, and other necessary equipment.
* Food Handling: Support food service operations by helping with the preparation, distribution, and cleanup of food items. Ensure adherence to food safety standards.
* Waitressing: Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring a positive experience for all attendees.
* Christmas Present Wrapping: Assist in wrapping gifts during the holiday season, ensuring a festive and well-presented final product.
* Raffle Hamper Preparation: Help assemble and organize raffle hampers for various events, contributing to successful fundraising efforts.

Time Required
Times will differ depending on the event. Variety Midwest are happy where possible to work with volunteers availability times. Upon certain events Variety will advise set required times for volunteers to assist, e.g. at a set fundraising event for waitresses & bar staff, set up & pack down.
