The Role
As the Head of Delivery, you will lead the end‑to‑end construction and delivery function, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee the team of Project Managers, driving consistency, accountability, and commercial discipline across multiple concurrent projects.
This role is located in Bundamba QLD.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Project Management team, providing guidance, workload allocation, and performance oversight.
* Oversee high‑level program management, ensuring sequencing, milestones, and dependencies across multiple projects are actively managed.
* Maintain commercial oversight, including cost control, margins, forecasting, and cashflow.
* Conduct risk evaluation across live projects, making decisions to protect and improve project profitability.
* Chair meetings, manage stakeholders, and ensure follow‑up on actions and commitments.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance standards are met.
* Undertake quarterly and ad‑hoc travel as required.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a commercially minded, hands‑on Head of Delivery to lead multiple projects and teams within a Head Contractor or Tier 1 construction environment. This senior role demands a proactive leader who takes full accountability for program delivery, budgets, margins, and live risk management, ensuring complex projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
You will be a confident leader who can motivate and support Project Managers while maintaining strong client relationships. A solid understanding of contracts, financial management, and construction processes is essential. The successful candidate will also have a commercial mindset, capable of making day‑to‑day decisions that protect and enhance project profitability, drive continuous improvement, and ensure consistently high‑quality outcomes.
