OverviewPosition: BI Clerk Grade 3 (Permanent Full Time) | Location: Broken Hill, NSW | Hours per week: 38Requisition ID: REQ607262Remuneration: $68,955.02 - $71,152.26 + SuperannuationEmployer: Far West Local Health District, NSW HealthWhat You'll Be DoingUndertake administrative tasks including but not limited to typing of letters/policies, accommodation allocation, telephone calls, mailing, filing, record compilation, calendar bookings, liaising with Remote Health Sites, travel/vehicle applications and bookings, data entry and filing, producing reports and correspondence to internal and external stakeholders.Maintain and order stock, stationery, and linen stock purchasing, delivering, sorting, distributing and auditing stock.Provide administrative assistance to meetings, including scheduling, agenda and document collation, and minute creation and dissemination; assist with scheduling and administration of education and in-service sessions for the Assets, Facilities, & Support Service teams.ResponsibilitiesSupport administrative processes across the district's health facilities.Coordinate and manage documentation, correspondence, and records for internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications and SkillsCertificate III in office administration and/or recent administration experience, preferably within a healthcare setting.Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to interact confidently with clients and health professionals.Proficiency in MS Office Suite; accurate data entry skills; working knowledge of roster and finance systems.Strong organisational and time management skills; ability to meet strict deadlines.Current license and ability to travel across the District, potentially including overnight stays.Ability to work under broad supervision and undertake a diverse range of tasks as a team member in a high-pressure, high-volume environment.Knowledge of Work Health & Safety matters.Benefits and Incentives5 weeks paid annual leave per yearSalary packaging options with up to $9k for living expenses + $2.6k for meal & entertainmentMonthly ADO (day off)Learning and development support with access to further education and trainingCorporate rates at local gym (YMCA)Fitness PassportQuality of life in Broken Hill with access to regional amenitiesAbout Far West LHDThe Far West Local Health District is one of 15 LHDs under NSW Health, providing high quality public health services to communities in far west NSW.
