Event Crew - Urban Tails Event | 12 April 2026
Urban Tails Events is looking for energetic and reliable Event Crew to help deliver an exciting dog-friendly event on Sunday 12 April 2026.
We have three different crew shifts available:
* Setup Crew – starting from 7:00am
* Event Day Crew – daytime event support
* Pack-Up Crew – assisting after the event finishes
Finish time is expected to be around 7:00pm (depending on pack-down progress).
Key Responsibilities
Setup Crew
* Unpacking equipment from the trailer
* Assisting with setting up the event arena, customer service area, and merchandise area
* Moving equipment and fencing into position
* General event setup duties (some lifting required)
Event Day Crew
* Ticket scanning at entry
* Customer service and assisting attendees
* Competition ticket scanning
* Merch desk sales and EFTPOS transactions
* Checking and refilling water bowls for dogs
* Photobooth customer service and assisting guests
* General event support
Pack-Up Crew
* Packing equipment and event materials
* Moving fencing and equipment back to the trailer
* Assisting with loading equipment
* Walking the event area to ensure all rubbish is cleaned before departure
Requirements
* Must have a driver's licence and access to a car
* Must hold a valid Working With Children Check
* Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
* Physically fit and able to assist with lifting and moving equipment
* Able to use EFTPOS systems
* Comfortable being around dogs all day
Pay Rate
Pay will be in line with Award Rates and will vary depending on age and experience. Pay: $18.69 - $42.60 per hour. Expected hours: 4.0 - 12.0 per week.
