Job Description
Hanrahan Health is expanding its services to include positive behaviour support. We seek an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner at the Proficient or Advanced level, dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based, person-centred, and outcome-focused support to NDIS participants.
Daily responsibilities include:
1. Assisting NDIS participants and their support networks through assessment and planning
2. Developing and implementing support plans within complex environments
3. Creating meaningful goals and strategies using a positive behaviour support framework, aiming to eliminate restrictive practices
4. Ensuring plans align with participants' goals, passions, and strengths
5. Building capacity and knowledge of support networks
6. Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team and mentoring less experienced practitioners

About you
* Proficient or Advanced suitability as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, with evidence to support
* Significant experience supporting individuals with behaviours of concern
* Excellent report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
* Genuine passion for the disability sector
Qualifications
* A degree in an allied health discipline is preferred
