About the role
We're looking for compassionate, enthusiastic, qualified Disability Support Workers to provide assistance to individuals with physical, developmental or cognitive disabilities.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide assistance to individuals with physical, developmental, or cognitive disabilities. Our services run 7 days a week providing you with flexibility and work life balance.
In this role you will have the ability to support participants by encouraging and maintaining their independence. This role will provide you with great variety in your work including but not limited to:
Perform personal care, domestic duties, assistance with meals and medication
Provide In home, centre based and overnight respite
Enable social and community participation
Assist in implementing client-specific programs to encourage independence whenever possible
Promote individuals physical, intellectual, emotional, social, cultural, and spiritual well-being.
About you
Relevant qualifications in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent/relevant
Demonstrate a strong ability to work independently and manage your work effectively
Possess a valid Driver's licence, vehicle and comprehensive insurance
Flexible Schedule
Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Card
Hold a current first Aid Certificate
