**Position Overview**
As we continue to develop and increase our music courses, we are currently seeking an experienced full-time Music Teacher to join our team. As a Music Teacher at Little Talent Pty Ltd, you will play an essential role in our music courses. You will lead groups of children and families, creating a warm and inviting environment and bringing joy through music and movement.
**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Plan and develop music and movement programs tailored to the needs of individual students and groups.
- Create and present engaging class materials on music theory, rhythm and movement, which are designed to be accessible and enjoyable for young learners and their parents.
- Lead interactive classes that teach and demonstrate various musical techniques, such as singing skills, rhythm skills and instruments playing, encouraging children and their families to actively participate.
- Assign tailored exercises and activities to address each student's unique needs and talents, fostering a supportive and individualized learning environment.
- Regularly observe and assess students' progress, providing feedback, including advice, constructive criticism and encouragement, to both students and their parents.
- Discuss students' development, or any problems or situations that may arise with their parents or the director on an as-needed basis.
- Consistently assess the quality of class instruction and student engagement, gather feedback from parents, and adapt curricular, course materials, contents and teaching approaches as needed.
- Arrange exhibitions and performances for students, such as singing recitals and instrument performances, to give them a platform to display their talents.
- Prepare students for their examinations, performances and assessments, ensuring they feel confident and ready to demonstrate their skills and talents.
- Stay updated about developments in music education by attending company training and professional conferences and courses, as well as reading online news and related literature.
- Organize students to visit professional music exhibitions and performances, such as concerts, to enhance their learning experiences.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a Music Teacher related role, with a minimum of 2years' relevant experience.
- Experience in music education of children and knowledge of child development.
- Strong musical skills, including the ability to sing in tune, demonstrate rhythm accurately and play musical instruments.
- Enthusiastic and high-energy approach to teaching, with a commitment to creating a positive and joyful classroom environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a capacity to engage parents and families in their children's musical growth.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
