MPB Commercial Support Officer

* Length of Contract - 11 months

Location: Canberra, ACT
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver branch-level commercial support for sustainment and acquisition activities.
* Respond to commercial enquiries and provide advice on procurement matters.
* Assist with preparation and management of approaches to market.
* Support tender evaluations and assist in contract development.
* Ensure compliance with Defence procurement policy and frameworks.
* Liaise with stakeholders across Defence and industry to support procurement outcomes.
Essential criteria:
* Demonstrated experience in commercial or procurement roles, preferably in a Defence or public sector environment.
* Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Desirable criteria:
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
* Familiarity with space acquisition or technically complex procurement domains.

* SFIA Skill Code - Contract management (ITCM) - L4
