Your new role
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Addressing client needs in the least restrictive manner possible
* Preparing clear and factual handover notes and incident reports
* Mentoring clients and assisting them in developing independent living skills
* Supporting clients in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and relapse prevention
* Managing complex and challenging client behaviours, including aggressive behaviours
* Goal setting and planning (Community Support Worker)
* Helping clients get back on their feet
* Maintaining a safe and comforting environment
* Helping individuals navigate systems and access resources.
* Providing a positive and encouraging atmosphere
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful candidate, you must meet the following criteria:
* Certificate III in Community Services, Aged Care or a related field
* Effective communication and time management skills
* Experience in the Aged Care or Homelessness support sector
* Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of client information
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
* At least one (1) year of experience as an Aged Care Support Worker or Crisis Worker

The organisation operates a 24/7 facility; therefore, applicants must have the availability and flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster, including days, nights, and weekends. The position offers an attractive wage starting at $36.00 per hour plus superannuation and penalties - Weekly Pay !
