Be the face. Be the voice. Be the reason students choose The Gordon.

Love a good chat? Thrive on positive energy? Get a buzz from helping young people figure out their future? This is your moment. As a Student Recruitment Officer, you’ll be front and centre with students, teachers and parents sharing pathways, opening doors and proudly representing The Gordon across schools, campuses and communities.

You’ll split your time between office planning and being out on the road, connecting with independent and private schools across Greater Geelong and Werribee, running info sessions, attending expos and partnering with educators who shape student decisions.

About the Role

This role is all about people, presence and purpose. You’ll engage directly with students in Years 9 - 12 (mainly 11 - 12), help demystify pathways and show how TAFE, diplomas and university all connect. You’ll also work closely with Portfolio Managers, Program Leads and marketing colleagues to deliver engaging events, develop the course guide and represent The Gordon with pride and professionalism.

You will:

* Be a positive, energetic presence in schools, on campus and at expos across regional and metro Victoria.
* Deliver engaging info sessions with Principals, teachers and Portfolio Managers.
* Act as a key conduit between The Gordon and independent/private schools.
* Support development of the annual course guide as a side project with real impact.
* Work closely with Deakin University’s student recruitment team to deliver pathway presentations to potential students.

You bring:

* Natural confidence speaking with youth audiences aged 15–18.
* Passion for helping people discover education pathways suited to them.
* Clear understanding of VCE, TAFE and University pathways.
* Strong organisation skills for events, travel and planning.
