* Level B $113,157 - $133,837 + 17% Superannuation

About the role:

This position is suited to a person with current clinical expertise in a relevant area with an openness to developing capacity to teach across multiple areas of the curriculum, and a passion for developing and delivering high quality and relevant learning for speech pathology students. A keen interest in engagement with the disability sector to support teaching and employability is also necessary.

As a Speech Pathology Lecturer (Industry Professional), you will:

o Deliver effective teaching practices and suggest approaches to innovate teaching practices to achieve student learning experiences to support success and engagement
o Apply industry, clinical and/or research practice into student learning experiences, success, engagement and resources.
o Contribute to unit teaching teams and work collaboratively with other unit teaching teams in the course to develop effective unit curricula, clinical/professional education experiences and learning resources.
o Contribute to the review of units and courses and implement refinements.
o Support the development and delivery of clinically-focussed learning opportunities across the curriculum

To be successful, you’ll have:

o Master of Speech Pathology or above and/or other relevant qualifications with relevant professional experience;
o Recent (within the last five years) speech pathology practice experience
o Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs.
o Capacity to contribute to innovative curriculum design.
o Demonstrated capacity for building collaborative partnerships with varied people/organisations
