About the role

This 12-month fixed term role sits within the Coles Lifestyle Services Marketing team and offers a broad remit across brand, research and stakeholder influence. You'll partner with media, product and cross-functional teams, providing end-to-end visibility of how work comes together across the business.

You'll join a collaborative and close-knit team with a strong, supportive culture. The role provides genuine breadth and visibility, with the opportunity to shape brand direction, influence decisions and see your insights and recommendations delivered in market.

You will lead the customer and market insight agenda for the team, working closely with our research agency to translate research findings into clear, actionable recommendations that inform marketing strategy and brand decisions.

What you will do

You will help evolve the Lifestyle Services brand and customer experience by connecting brand thinking, customer and market insights, and practical marketing execution.

Your focus will be turning insight into clear, actionable recommendations that improve how we engage customers and show up consistently across channels and touchpoints.

You will also:
* Lead the customer and market research program, identifying the key questions and opportunities that should inform brand and marketing strategy
* Brief and partner with our external research agency to design and deliver research that answers key business questions
* Translate research findings into clear insights and recommendations that shape go-to-market plans, brand strategy and creative development
* Work with cross-functional teams to ensure insights are embedded into marketing activity and customer experience initiatives
* Contribute to the development and governance of the Lifestyle Services brand strategy and guidelines.
About you

We're open to marketing and brand professionals from a variety of customer-focused backgrounds. Experience working in complex or regulated products is helpful, but not essential. The key is that you bring a clear point of view on the role brand and insight play in driving business outcomes.

You don't need to be a technical researcher. Instead, you're someone who can identify the right questions to explore, work closely with research partners, and translate insights into clear strategic direction for the business.

You'll also have:
* Experience using customer or market insights to inform marketing or brand decisions
* Strong ability to translate insight into clear, actionable recommendations
* Confidence influencing and constructively challenging stakeholders
* Clear communication and presentation skills with a collaborative approach.
