Full time, fixed term until 31st December 2026 – Secondment Backfill Drive executive support, strategy, and events in a dynamic academic environment Base Salary $112,628 17% superannuation About the opportunity As the Executive Assistant, you will work closely with the newly appointed Academic Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Charlie Perkins Centre, ensuring seamless administrative operations and strategic project execution. This role plays a key part in supporting the Centre’s strategy, managing executive functions, and facilitating stakeholder engagement across the University. Your key responsibilities will be to: provides broad, high level professional executive support to the Academic Director and the COO and effectively manage daily office operations and administration activity. provide extensive diary management for the Academic Director provide executive support to the Academic Director and Chief Operating Officer in the CPC manage the general day to day office operations and administration activities coordinate diaries, meetings, and events, including travel and conferences provide project officer support for projects implementing the Centre’s strategy and operations build and manage effective working rapport with key stakeholders and staff across the University. About you This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-level executive and project support within a dynamic academic environment. We are looking for someone who has: previous experience in the higher education sector demonstrated experience in executive support and project support excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong problem solving skills well-developed negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship building and influencing skills with senior level stakeholders proven experience in handling a wide range of enquiries and providing good customer service and ability use initiative experience in financial management of projects; managing budgets, controlling income and expenditure Sponsorship / work rights for Australia You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
