Position Description
Christ the King is a double stream Catholic Primary School with classes from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6 and two wonderful vibrant Special Needs Learning Support Centres.
The school is situated 6 kilometres from the Fremantle harbour and 1 minute from the heart of Fremantle.
Our school is set in a beautiful setting surrounded by trees and family homes.
The School enjoys a close relationship with the Parish and the strong support of the parent community.
Together with a comprehensive academic curriculum, Christ the King places solid emphasis on community and on excellence in teaching and learning.

Selection Criteria

• Have an enthusiastic, caring and empathetic disposition who can connect with and make a difference in the lives of children with high intensive needs.
• Have a strong emphasis on functional Literacy and Numeracy, with teamwork and staff collaboration, which will be essential.
• Will be responsible for student IEP’s, SWD and NCCD funding applications.
Qualifications Required
• Relevant four year tertiary qualification
• Accreditation to Teach Religious Education Learning Area.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting students with additional learning needs.
