About The Role
You will be part of a global team responsible for reviewing, articulating, and supporting the negotiation of cyber security contractual language – whilst building and maintaining client trust in PwC’s global information and cyber security control framework.
Experience in contract review, editing, and negotiation — particularly involving terms related to information security and data protection — is strongly preferred. While a legal qualification is not mandatory, prior experience working closely with legal teams or handling contractual documentation is highly valuable to succeed in this role.
You’ll help solve complex problems by using your skills in:
* Participating in the review and negotiation of client contractual documentation such as Engagement Letters, Master Service Agreements, and Statements of Work
* Editing and aligning client-proposed contractual language with PwC’s internal policies and applicable information security standards
* Collaborating and managing relationships with contributors from multiple teams — including technical subject matter experts and business teams
* Contributing to the development of new subject matter and technical domain expertise in the context of client interactions and contract review
* Identifying and supporting initiatives to continually improve the service and identifying opportunities to improve both effectiveness and efficiency
Requirements in our Client & Interactions team, your impact will be seen by:
* Demonstrating minimum 2+ years’ experience in IT Security, GRC, Privacy or IT Audit
* Your understanding of IT security management frameworks, especially ISO 27001, and how they are applied in the context of IT management frameworks and related systems and processes
* Having prior experience reviewing and/or negotiating contractual clauses, preferably related to cybersecurity, privacy, or data protection
* Exposure from Legal background in information security / cyber security law
* Applying functional knowledge of audits, customer or client interactions and contracts in the context of a broader understanding of information security requirements and privacy laws and regulations
* Resolving complex issues and conflicting interests with diplomacy or recognizing when issues need to be escalated
* Effectively cross cultural/region/country communicating and leveraging experience working in an environment that crosses various regions and countries
* Possessing the ability to respond to challenging situations with a pragmatic approach towards solutions
* Working under your own initiative and taking ownership and execute tasks with autonomy
