We're looking for a Security Architect to drive secure-by-design practices, uplift enterprise security posture, and influence technology decision-making across a large, complex organisation.

What you'll do
Enable secure digital experiences for customers, employees, and partners by ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and compliant with security standards.
Provide security thought leadership to shape technology strategy, operating models, and roadmaps.
Promote innovation and value creation while ensuring managed risk and strong security controls.
Anticipate future security needs by supporting enterprise programs and reducing technical debt.
Champion a strong security culture and embed secure practices across teams and platforms.
Ensure a safe, secure, and compliant environment aligned to regulatory obligations (e.g., CPS 234).
Take on broader security responsibilities to support squad and organisational success.
Core responsibilities
Identify and remediate security gaps across application and technology portfolios (APM/TPM).
Contribute to domain strategies and roadmaps that minimise risk and enable business goals.
Apply architecture standards in solution design and challenge deficiencies that introduce risk.
Drive services aligned with security and non-functional requirements such as confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Produce security architecture deliverables within expected timelines and budgets.
Communicate assessment outcomes clearly and provide actionable risk-mitigation recommendations.
Guide secure design decisions across platforms, vendors, and partners through delivery.
Advise stakeholders on security impacts of architectural decisions, presenting options with clear benefits, risks, and compliance considerations.
What you bring
Strong experience as a Security Architect in a large enterprise or regulated environment.
Deep knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and architectural patterns.
Expertise in cloud security, identity, secure design, risk assessment, and threat modelling.
Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex security concepts clearly.
Experience working with CPS 234 or similar regulatory environments is highly desirable.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to balance innovation and operational risk.
