About the Role
Calvary Aged Care invites compassionate individuals to join our dedicated team as Personal Care Workers, providing exceptional care to residents.
Responsibilities
* Support residents to live the life they choose, allowing them to exercise choice and independence.
* Assist residents with one‐on‐one activities that support their well‐being, inclusive of hobbies and interests aligned to the care plan.
* Contribute to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs and wants of residents through assessment and observation.
* Follow the established framework to deliver personal‐care tasks, including daily hygiene (e.g., showering, shaving, dressing, mouth and eye care, continence management).
* Assist residents who require assistance with mobility as per their care plan.
Qualifications
* Certificate Level III (Individual Support) or equivalent.
* Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to prioritise workloads.
* Working knowledge of WH&S and infection control.
* Proven experience in a similar role in aged care, health care or hospitality.
