Job Description
We’re looking for a Boiler Attendant to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the protected, efficient, and reliable operation of our boiler systems. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
About the role:
- Check and maintain boilers to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Monitor coal usage, chemical controls, soot blowing, water softener tests, and blow-down procedures
- Clean soot and maintain boiler performance to maximise efficiency
- Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimise downtime
- Use your strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently
- Inform the Maintenance Supervisor of repairs and required maintenance
- Work closely with the Operations team to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with team members in a constructive and supportive environment
- Maintain a strong focus on safety at all times

- Has previous experience working with boilers or in a maintenance-related role
