Sales Consultant – Walking & Adventure Travel
The role combines sales expertise with a passion for worldwide walking holidays, offering the opportunity to help customers create their perfect walking trip whilst contributing to the company\'s growth and development.
Responsibilities
* Responding to all inbound telephone and email enquiries within defined time frames
* Converting enquiries to bookings using the online processes
* Contacting and following up abandoned bookings and converting
* Utilising sales templates and tools to effectively communicate with prospects and customers
* Communicating promotions and special offers to walkers
Ideal candidate
You will enjoy talking with people about their desire to travel - bringing them along the journey from initial enquiry to paying deposits, using your own travel experience and the mountains of product information available.
But ultimately, this is a sales conversion role .. and you should be wired to get a kick out of the sale, and the earning opportunity that successful sales will bring you. You may have travel industry experience - but the beauty of this role - is you have a team of Destination Specialists to do all the nitty gritty of the booking. Or you may have been a successful sales person in other phone/email based sales roles but happen to love the outdoors and soft adventure travel
We will be considering all candidates who love the thrill of the sale and with a passion for this type of travel.
