**Our client, who combines onshore and offshore wind, hydro and innovative technologies is in need of a Logistics Coordinator for an ASAP start.**
**Location**:Melbourne or anywhere in Eastern Australia - the client offers flexible working arrangements including working from home
**Function**: Logistics Department
**Contract length**: 12 month contract initially with at least 3-4 years worth of ongoing projects so high possibility of extension - lots of room for growth
**Role Summary**
You'll be working within the Logistics team, tracking incoming and outgoing shipments to multiple projects. You'll also provide administration and information to relevant stakeholders. **Some travel will be required to ports and warehousing as requested.**
**Qualifications / Desired Requirements**
- Strong computer, administration, communication, organisational and literacy skills
- Work well within a team environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Understanding of Shipping terms, documentations required for import and export
- Relevant Product & EHS training certifications
- **Required ExperienceUp to 12 months of international freight experience**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and distribute Shipping Tracker - Main WTG components
- Coordinate Small shipments i.e. ship loose items/ B&N / MVSG's, spares
- Coordination and supply of documents between stakeholders
- Track and approve - Freight forwarder & Customs invoices, Marine Surveyors and more
- Document control of shipping docs to comply to global MSAs
- Coordinate Airfreight / Shipping Urgent components as requested
- Coordinate back freight or damaged components and tracking
- Coordinate all return of fixtures administration. This includes site visits and providing necessary direction as needed
- Internal Project Shipments, Tooling assistance and coordination of deliveries
Container tracking and selling off assets
- Coordination and supply of documents between stakeholders for projects
