We are seeking a skilled financial professional to oversee our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, be proficient in financial software, and possess excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management
* Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
* Manage tax compliance, BAS, FBT, and other statutory reporting requirements
* Support project costing and provide financial analysis for operational and capital expenditure
* Maintain and improve internal controls and financial systems
About You:
We are looking for an experienced accountant with the following qualifications:
* CPA qualified (or working towards)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior accounting role
* Prior experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is highly regarded
* Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and job/project costing
* Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
