Fieldpiece
is looking for a
Technical Sales & Support Specialist
to join our Brisbane team. This is a unique hybrid role combining inside sales, technical support, and hands-on repair work—perfect for someone who is customer-focused, technically minded, and enjoys working with complex instruments.

In this role, you'll be a key link between customers, distributors, sales, warehouse, and service teams. You'll support distributors and direct customers with product selection and orders, while also diagnosing, repairing, and testing Fieldpiece HVACR instruments.

Qualifications
What You'll Be Doing
Inside Sales & Customer Support (60%)

* Support distributors, customers, and sales teams with product selection, applications, pricing, availability, and technical advice
* Process customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently
* Handle inquiries related to orders, deliveries, returns, exchanges, and credits
* Track shipments and provide timely delivery updates

Technical Support & Repairs (40%)

* Provide first-line technical support via phone and email
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in line with company and warranty procedures
* Perform functional testing and quality checks on repaired tools
* Process warranty and non-warranty repairs, including documentation and customer communication
* Escalate complex technical issues to engineering or global support teams when required
* Share feedback on product performance and recurring technical issues

What We're Looking For

* 3+ years' experience in technical support, inside sales, service, or repair-related roles
* Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands-on repair experience
* HVACR industry experience or familiarity with test and measurement instruments (preferred)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first approach
* Experience using ERP, CRM, and MS Office systems
* Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and service manuals
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and sound judgement
