The Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced AV Pre-Sales Engineer to bridge the gap between client requirements and technical delivery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in solution design, estimation, and client-facing technical discussions. You’ll work closely with sales and project teams to develop accurate, innovative AV solutions across a variety of project types. Key Responsibilities Interpret client briefs and develop detailed AV system designs Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and tender submissions Conduct site visits and client meetings to define project scope Collaborate with Sales and Project Management teams Produce system schematics, topology diagrams, and documentation Support handovers to delivery teams and assist with technical queries Contribute to continuous improvement in design and sales processes Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in AV integration, across areas such as: Technical Sales Estimation System Engineering Project Management Commissioning / Installation Strong understanding of AV system design and audio DSP architecture Experience with AV control systems and integration principles Ability to produce technical documentation, flowcharts, and system designs Excellent written and verbal communication skills Technical Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project, Outlook) Experience with D-Tools System Integrator (highly regarded) Knowledge of AV technologies and system integration best practices Certifications (Preferred) Q-SYS Designer Crestron Digital Media / NVX AVIXA CTS Other Requirements Valid driver’s licence Working with Children Check What’s on Offer Competitive salary package with bonus structure car allowance Work with a highly skilled and collaborative team Exposure to diverse and technically engaging projects Career progression in a growing organisation Tools of the trade provided (laptop, software, etc.) At Found People, we treat all applications with strict confidentiality.
