About the Role
We are seeking an experienced wedding video editor to join our team. This role offers flexibility and can be performed either remotely or from our Gold Coast (Robina) office. Hours will depend on the candidate's availability and will be discussed with suitable applicants.
The ideal candidate will have a portfolio showcasing professional wedding video work, with a strong eye for storytelling and emotion. Our style is timeless and romantic, so your edits will need to reflect this aesthetic. Final deliverables for each wedding include a 6-8 minute wedding video, a 1-minute highlight video, and raw/unedited footage of the ceremony and speeches.
Key Responsibilities
* Edit wedding videos from raw footage, creating beautiful, cohesive, and emotional narratives.
* Incorporate music, audio (vow voiceovers), and transitions that reflect the couple's story and our brand.
* Ensure consistent colour grading and audio quality.
* Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
* Communicate effectively with the team regarding progress, revisions, and feedback.
Skills & Qualities We're Looking For
* Strong technical expertise in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
* Excellent attention to detail and storytelling skills.
* Strong organisational and time management abilities.
* Motivated, positive, and willing to go the extra mile.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
