Solution Advocate
As a key player in our indirect tax solution team, you will collaborate closely with sales to grow advocacy for our Indirect Tax product portfolio across the Australian market.
About the Role
* Utilize your expertise to provide solution and product knowledge during the sales cycle, driving engagement and fostering strong relationships with customers.
* Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements and needs, leveraging your knowledge to identify tailored solutions within our capabilities.
* Serve as a trusted advisor, leading complex discussions and scoping scalable solutions that meet customer objectives.
* Respond promptly to new leads, working collaboratively to progress deals through the sales cycle and drive revenue growth.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments, regulatory changes, and major player activities to stay ahead of the curve and effectively lead client discussions.
* Contribute to key retention efforts, bringing domain expertise to support stakeholders and drive customer satisfaction.
About You
* A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in indirect tax compliance, gained at an accounting or law firm or within an Australian corporation.
* Proven hands-on experience using or implementing Thomson Reuters tax solutions (e.g., ONESOURCE) or adjacent indirect tax software.
* Exceptional client-facing and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong commercial acumen, including a solid understanding of the sales process and bid/proposal management.
