Are you a passionate team member with a deep love for animals? Pets Country Club in Lara, is searching for an Animal Attendant and Customer Service Superstar to elevate our exceptional pet care team.
In this role, you'll help deliver the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art pet care facility and doggy daycare, ensuring our furry guests receive the highest standards of care and safety.
You'll also be the friendly face welcoming our human clients, delivering our Award-Winning Customer Service!
What You'll Be Doing:
* Work with Confidence: help deliver of our dedicated pet care and daycare programs, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service.
* Monitor and Enrich: Keep a watchful eye on the wellbeing and behaviour of all animals, implementing appropriate interventions and engaging enrichment activities.
* Record-Keeping: Maintain meticulous records for each pet's stay, including feeding, medication, and any incidents or observations.
* Client Relations: Assist with the admission and discharge of pets, managing check-in/check-out procedures and maintaining clear communication with clients, including answering calls and emails promptly.
* Sanitation and Safety: Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all pet care facilities, play areas, and equipment.
* Develop Policies: Contribute to the development and implementation of training programs and policies for our pet care team.
* Exceptional Customer Service: Address client concerns and questions promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive memorable experience.
What We're Looking For:
* Animal Expertise: Strong knowledge of animal behaviour, breed traits, pet health, and best care practices.
* Top-Notch Communication: Outstanding customer service skills, with a passion for creating exceptional experiences for clients and their pets.
* Customer Service Background: Previous customer service experience in any industry is highly regarded.
* Detail-Oriented: Proficient in maintaining detailed records and reporting.
* Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
* Certification: Certificates III, IV or Diploma in Animal Care, Animal Care Services, Veterinary Nursing or Animal Technology would be highly regarded but not compulsory. First aid certification or willingness to obtain one.
* Work Authorisation: Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application.
* Experience Requirement: A minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience working with animals is required.
