Working hours for this position are 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. Saturday availability is mandatory, while the other working days are negotiable within Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Plan, coordinate and deliver high quality Diversional Therapy care to patients/clients of the St George Hospital Aged Care and Rehabilitation services consistent with South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) policies, procedures and standards.

Selection Criteria
* Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award; and demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.
* Demonstrated core competency skills in Diversional Therapy in a health care setting, which includes aged care and rehabilitation populations.
* Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal skills, to both engage patients/clients and work effectively with the multi-disciplinary team.
* Demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgement in the provision of clinical care using evidence-based practice, commensurate with years of experience.
* Demonstrated commitment to the use and application of professional and clinical digital technologies.
* Demonstrated participation or leadership in quality improvement processes and teaching, commensurate with years of experience.
* Ability to respond to the demands and pressures of the role while managing time effectively.
* Current drivers licence (or a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
