Business Development Representative (B2B) - Part-time
Hours: Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm or similar
Location: Thomastown, VIC
Salary: From $70,000 plus super and commensurate to experience
Borg Property Services is a well-established provider of commercial cleaning and washroom hygiene solutions across Australia.
We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our Business Development & Marketing team at our Thomastown Head Office.
A background in B2B sales is essential from a customer service or sales background.
About the Roles
Reporting to the General Manager | Business Development & Marketing, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth across our Commercial Cleaning and Hygiene Divisions. These roles suit sales professionals who can confidently engage with clients, understand our services, and translate operational requirements into set appointments for the Business Development Managers.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
* Generating and converting new business opportunities through outbound sales calls focused cold and warm calling, and client relationship management.
* Promote our company as a first contact for introduction and appointment set for the Business Development Managers. Leads lists are provided by the GM and established on our CRM.
* Cross-selling cleaning and hygiene contracts on sales calls.
* Managing and maintaining accurate sales pipelines and CRM records.
* Identify and qualify decision makers on the phone.
* Ensuring all sales activities comply with company systems, and ensure CRM is updated and build & maintain pipeline of qualified opportunities in our CRM.
* Have at least 25+ meaningful conversations per day with targeted prospects across cleaning and washroom hygiene services.
* Research target accounts and identify key contact by using our market contact tools.
About You
You are a confident, organised, and proactive business development professional with B2B sales experience from a customer service or sales background.
You will have:
* Proven experience in B2B from a customer service industry/telemarketing background (mandatory)
* Experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management (mandatory)
* Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs
* Experience with lead generation, cold/warm calling, and pipeline management - persistent without being pushy - you follow up consistently and professionally
* Confidence using CRM systems and sales databases
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills – clear communication – no waffle no jargon
* Strong organisation, time management, and attention to detail – you can manage a high volume of contacts and follow ups
* A professional, positive, and resilient attitude - coachability - you take feedback and apply it
* Confidence on the phone - you are not fazed by gatekeepers or "not interested"
What You Need
* Valid driver's licence (mandatory)
* Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
