We’re currently seeking a Manufacturing Inspector to join an exciting tram project with Alstom in Dandenong.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play a key role in inspecting manufacturing processes to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Perform visual inspections to identify discrepancies in torque, dimensions, or bonding processes.
- Proficient to use tools for assessment and checks.
- Accurately record inspection data for analysis and reporting.
- Use Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables) to manage and analyse quality data.
Your Profile
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Diploma, or a Quality-related qualification.
- Previous experience in rail, automotive, or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
- Solid attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow established procedures and work instructions.
- Must be willing to complete a Drug & Alcohol Test and National Police Check post interview.
