Communication is key, as you'll have daily interactions with the Supervisor, internal staff, and external suppliers and contractors, ensuring smooth collaboration and effective workflow. You'll have the chance to review work practices, identify areas for improvement, and implement initiatives that enhance safety and efficiency, making a real impact on our operations.
Additionally, maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards in the workshop will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring a clean and organized environment that complies with the renowned 5S standard. What we are looking for:
11. Relevant trade qualification with extensive industry experience
12. Strong understanding of earth moving machinery – preferably Komatsu
13. Strong leadership and management skills to effectively lead and motivate
14. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
15. Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Office and inventory management software
16. Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations and protocols
17. Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to changing priorities and needs in a dynamic work environment.
