We are seeking a carpenter experienced in housing construction who has a high level of attention to detail & with the ability to work alongside other trades, team members & apprentices. We use innovative technology to run & track our projects, ensuring great results. You will be required to assist in the provision of on-the-job training for apprentices & to perform work under limited supervision either individually or in a team environment.
Responsibilities
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans both Architectural & Structural.
* Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
* Have a 'no compromise' attitude towards safety,
* Passionate about providing a "Great Customer Experience",
* Be organised, and have the ability to think on the run
* Be able to learn new skills quickly,
* Have a positive attitude and be a team player,
* Outstanding work ethic and be physically fit.
Qualifications
* Carpentry Trade Certificate III
* White card & essential tools of trade
* Technology skills required for completing timesheets, and for using project apps, emails, and the like.
* Cert IV Building Construction – not essential but an advantage
* Welding experience an advantage
* First Aid Certificate an advantage
Above award rates apply, renumeration will depend on experience & qualifications.
