ABOUT THE POSITION:
We’re looking for an SEO Specialist Intern .
This role offers meaningful, hands-on experience in digital marketing, strong mentorship, and a supportive work environment. For the right candidate, this internship is designed to lead to permanent employment.
ABOUT YOU:
You must:
* Be studying a relevant degree in Marketing, Digital Media, IT, or Communications, OR be a recent graduate/skilled migrant.
* Possess excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Have a foundational understanding of SEO principles and the eagerness to develop technical and analytical skills.
* Be committed to building a career in digital marketing and SEO.
* Be available to work at least 3 days per week.
LEARNING OUTCOMES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will gain practical work experience in the following areas:
* Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO opportunity audits.
* Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and images for target keywords.
* Assist in the management of technical SEO elements, including site speed, crawlability, and indexation.
* Support the creation and execution of link-building and digital PR strategies.
* Perform regular tracking, reporting, and analysis of SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
* Contribute to local SEO efforts, including Google Business Profile optimization.
* Help ensure website content aligns with SEO best practices and user intent.
* Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to align SEO strategy with broader business goals.
LOCATION:
The host company is located in Sydney.
