We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to help us transform our $100bn Wrap platform into an AI-first ecosystem. You'll partner with cross‐functional teams to solve a massive variety of 'real‐world' financial puzzles—from optimizing advice workflows to scaling operational intelligence. What You'll Do
* Model Development & Deployment: Build, deploy, and maintain AI‐enabled apps and microservices, leveraging enterprise AI platforms, tools, and models.
* Research & Prototyping: Deliver labs, pilots, and proofs of concept to test and scale new ideas.
* Solution Architecture: Shape AI/ML system design and technical decisions for the Wrap platform.
* Collaboration & Leadership: Partner with engineers, product managers, and data scientists while mentoring junior team members.
* Data Handling: Work across relational, NoSQL, vector, and cloud‐based databases to enable retrieval, search, and processing in AI‐powered solutions.
* Performance & Ethics: Ensure models are scalable, reliable, explainable, secure, and ethically deployed.
What You Bring To This Role
* Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
* 3-5+ years' hands‐on experience delivering production‐ready AI applications at scale.
* Strong experience as a Senior Developer leading delivery and mentoring others.
* Deep technical expertise across:
o AI/ML model development, deployment, RAG, vector databases, Hugging Face/open‐source libraries
o Languages: Java (incl. Kotlin), Python, JavaScript
o Cloud: AWS, GCP, Azure; containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
o Databases: relational (Postgres/MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra), vector (ElasticSearch, VectorPG)
o Strong engineering best practices – version control, clean code, testing, peer reviews.
* A collaborative mindset, problem‐solving skills, and the ability to mentor others.
