HSEQT Manager - 6-12 Month ContractLocation: Wollongong, NSW
Type: Contract (6-12 months) Are you passionate about leading HSEQT initiatives and driving continuous improvement? This is your chance to join an established business that provides innovative and sustainable services to Australia's steel manufacturing industry. The organisation plays a key role in supporting steel production through waste recovery, recycling, and the supply of quality products for use in construction, civil works, and other sectors. About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled HSEQT Manager for a 6-12 month contract to lead health, safety, environment, quality, and training functions across operations. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll ensure compliance, manage risk, and foster a strong culture of safety, quality, and capability development. Key Responsibilities:Manage and enhance HSEQT systems aligned with ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001.Lead internal and external audit programs, ensuring recommendations are actioned.Deliver accurate HSEQT reporting and analysis to stakeholders.Oversee training, induction, and competency management to support business needs.Manage contractor HSEQ performance and key service providers.Support workers compensation, return-to-work, and rehabilitation processes. What We're Looking For:Proven HSEQT leadership experience, ideally in heavy industry or industrial services.Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, ISO standards, and integrated management systems.Demonstrated experience managing training and competency frameworks.High-level skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Strong stakeholder engagement and contractor management capability.Relevant qualifications in WHS, quality systems, and training (Cert IV, Diploma or equivalent).
