It helps us understand what we need now and into the future by counting the number of people and houses in Australia and asking questions about age, country of birth, cultural background, living situation, work, and education.
Job Role
As a Regional Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality field operations in regional and remote areas. You will coordinate and manage operations in your region of responsibility, leading small teams responsible for data collection activities within your area.
* Lead and motivate a team of field staff to achieve project goals.
* Work remotely and/or travel to various work areas as required.
* Develop, update, and review operational plans for your area of responsibility.
* Engage with the community, establish networks, and maintain relationships.
* Promote participation in the Census within the community.
* Collaborate with other Census and data collection staff.
* Analyze and interpret basic operational information using different software and systems.
* Monitor progress and provide project management support and administrative assistance as required.
* Provide regular written and/or verbal progress reports.
* Maintain a safe working environment and manage daily WHS requirements/activities.
