About Us

Mauri, part of the George Weston Foods Group, is a leading supplier of bakery ingredients and animal nutrition products.

Our Weston Animal Nutrition (WAN) division is one of Australia's largest and longest established manufacturers of high-quality processed animal feed products. We provide compound feeds, concentrates, and nutritional services for commercially farmed animals from sites throughout Australia and New Zealand.

As part of our WAN division, AusPac Ingredients provides a range of high-quality ingredients and speciality feed additives to companies operating throughout the stock feed value chain. The CCD Animal Health business focuses on animal health, biosecurity and veterinary products. Operating out of the head office in Tamworth NSW, AusPac/CCD has strong logistics and administrative capabilities, extensive sales, customer service and distribution network covering all regions of Australia.

About The Role

As part of the WAN finance function, this role will act as the primary finance partner to the AusPac/CCD Leadership Team, playing a critical role in driving profitable growth, disciplined decision‑making and sustainable financial performance.

This is a senior, hands‑on commercial role that blends strategic business partnering with strong ownership of financial planning, performance reporting, governance and systems. You will provide clear, actionable insights across pricing, margins, customer and product profitability, investments and working capital, while ensuring financial integrity and compliance.

The role is based in Tamworth, however Sydney‑based candidates will be considered where there is a willingness to travel to and work from Tamworth for at least one week per month.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

Act as the primary finance partner to the AusPac/CCD Leadership Team
Provide hands‑on commercial insight across pricing, margins, customer and product profitability, investments and working capital.
Own financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, translating results into clear, actionable business insights.
Lead monthly performance reporting, variance analysis and forward‑looking commentary to support leadership decision‑making.
Ensure financial accounting integrity, governance and compliance, working closely on month‑end close, balance sheet management, audits and internal controls.

About You

Our ideal candidate will be a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys being close to the business and influencing outcomes. You are comfortable balancing hands‑on delivery with strategic partnering and can confidently challenge and support senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate must have the following:

CPA or CA qualification with a tertiary background in Commerce, Economics or a related discipline.
Proven experience in a senior Finance Business Partner or commercial finance role, ideally within FMCG, agribusiness, animal nutrition or distribution environments.
Solid experience in financial planning, forecasting, modelling and management reporting.
Strong financial accounting knowledge, with experience supporting audits, governance and compliance.
