Cyber Security Architect Full‑time | Hybrid | Sydney, Brisbane or Perth based Our client is a well‑established organisation who is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to uplift and shape their enterprise‑wide security capability. This is a high‑impact role suited to someone who enjoys designing secure architectures, leading security uplift, and guiding stakeholders across a complex technology environment. About the Role In this position, you’ll play a key role in designing secure solutions, reviewing architectural designs, and driving Secure‑by‑Design practices. You’ll work across Microsoft 365, cloud security, identity, threat modelling, and enterprise security frameworks, helping our client strengthen their overall security posture. Key Responsibilities Design and review secure architecture across cloud and on‑prem Lead threat modelling, risk assessments and architectural assurance Architect secure Microsoft 365 environments (Defender, Sentinel, Purview, Entra, Intune) Develop and uplift security standards, patterns and secure‑by‑design controls Collaborate with technology, cyber and business stakeholders About You Experience as a Cyber Architect or senior cyber specialist Strong Microsoft 365 cloud security expertise (Azure/AWS) Knowledge of NIST, APRA CPS 234/230, PCI‑DSS, CIS Controls Skills across Zero Trust, identity, network security, encryption Strong communication and stakeholder engagement Desirable: MS‑500, AZ‑500, SC‑900, SC‑400, CISSP, CCSP Why This Opportunity High visibility across the organisation A supportive, mature cyber and technology environment Real ownership across architecture and uplift initiatives Work with a forward‑thinking organisation investing in security
