Job Overview
Sodexo is currently seeking a suitably qualified and motivated Wellness Advisor to work on a two‐weeks on, one‐week off roster. The role centres on a holistic approach to health and wellness, actively engaging clients and residents across three pillars.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver wellbeing & mental health activities including healthy lifestyle promotion, nutrition guidance aligned with Nutrition Australia guidelines, mindfulness activities, and fitness‐for‐work education.
* Lead fitness components: group‐fitness classes, health assessments, health challenges, gym inductions, exercise prescription and programming, and maintain gym facilities.
* Organise social experiences such as trivia nights, karaoke, games nights, guest speakers, social sports and resident engagement events.
* Run resident‐engagement initiatives, drive health‐promotion stalls, pre‐start stretches and toolbox talks for diverse work groups.
* Collaborate closely with management teams, liaise with stakeholders, client representatives and external vendors.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Certificate IV in Fitness (nationally recognised).
* CPR and First Aid certification.
* Valid driver's licence.
* Fitness Australia accreditation (desirable).
* Ability to undergo a pre‐employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing.
* Must obtain a National Police Check if not current within the last 6 months.
* Competency with Microsoft Office applications and digital tools.
* Experience with event planning and community engagement is desirable.
