About the role
We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at the Best Western Plus All Settlers Motor Inn in Tamworth, NSW. This is a casual position, we require a cook who can work on average 1-2 Breakfast shifts a week, and 3-5 Dinner shifts.
Breakfast shift will be 5.45am to 9am approximately
Dinner shift 3.30pm to 9pm- approximately.
You will be working independently as a Breakfast cook, and as part of team for evenings.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and cooking a variety of delicious meals for our guests, following recipes and using high-quality ingredients
* Ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
* Assisting with menu planning and recipe development to enhance the dining experience
* Collaborating with the wider hospitality team to provide excellent customer service
* Adhering to all health and safety regulations and procedures
What we're looking for
* Relevant experience as a Cook or Chef, preferably within the hospitality industry
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, menu planning and kitchen operations
* Excellent time management and multitasking skills to handle the demands of a busy kitchen
* A passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals and a commitment to food safety
* Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the wider hospitality team
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
