Gippsland Southern Health Service (GSHS) is a major provider of healthcare in the South Gippsland Shire. With two main acute facilities based at Leongatha and Korumburra, GSHS offers a broad range of specialist, general, acute, subacute, ambulatory, residential aged care and community services.
On 1 January 2026 five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) will come together to create Bayside Health. A newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians. The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.
About the Role
As the Rostering Administration Officer, you'll provide confidential, secretarial, rostering and administrative support to the Home Care Services Team. this team provids in home and community-based services to clients funded via the NDIS and Support at Home Programs.
The rostering administration officer is responsible for rostering staff to clients and meeting the expectations of our clients, participants, referring organisations and staff in a timely manner. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic, growing team, managing rosters and supporting Community Care staff and clients.
About YouTo succeed in this position you will ideally possess the following skills:
* Experience providing admin support to a team of managers/staff.
* Experience in roster management.
* Strong IT skills & knowledge of Microsoft products.
* High level of customer service skills.
* Excellent people and communication skills.
* A proactive, positive and helpful attitude.
