Locations:Western Australia and Victoria THE COMPANY Our client is a leading international company in the area offormwork,scaffoldingandengineering.They provide customers in the building industry with efficient solutions for rational construction. THE ROLE
* To provide the design of formwork, shoring and scaffolding solutions using company products in accordance with company guidelines and practices, as well as in accordance with Australian standards whilst maintaining efficient and effective use of time.
* Provide technical advice on all company products to customers and associates and company employees.
* Ensure work is carried out safely and following workplace health and safety, quality rules, and country regulations.
* Actively promote the supply of leading technical service and leadership by example.
* Develop an understanding of company products and Technical design strategies.
* Assist the Engineering Manager with the everyday running of the department including but not limited to reviewing designs, assigning workload and recruitment and development of Technical staff in the Victorian branch.
THE CANDIDATE
* Ability to liaise with people at all levels from diverse cultural backgrounds.
* A depth of experience in a similar role, working with all aspects of Formwork, Falsework and scaffolding designs. Experience in management and staff development (desirable for senior design role).
* Highly skilled at coaching and mentoring engineers and developing team dynamic
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships.
* Ability to work in a team and has a positive working attitude.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
