Murray River Laser Light Spectacular
Ever wanted to get paid to help run a laser light
show on the Murray River? We are on the lookout for a hands‑on Multimedia Technician to support the operation
of the Murray River Laser Light Spectacular. This role plays a key part in
ensuring the show is safe, reliable, and visually impressive for audiences each
night.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with
experience in lighting, audio and AV systems who enjoys practical,
behind-the-scenes technical work in a live production environment.
What you will be doing
No two shifts are the same, but you'll be
doing things like:
* Checking
lighting, electrical, and data equipment each day
* Getting
everything into standby mode before showtime
* Spotting issues
early and fixing problems before the show starts
* Cleaning and
looking after technical gear so it keeps performing at its best
* Helping out with
events and venue users when needed
* Communicating
with the Operations Coordinator to keep things running on plan
* Using equipment
safely and reporting when something needs maintenance
Basically — if it lights up, plays sound, or
makes the show work, you'll be involved.
What you need
* Competent
computer skills
* Demonstrated experience
in the operation and maintenance of lighting, audio, AV or projection equipment
* Level II First
Aid Certificate
* Working With
Children Check (employee)
A Police Check will be conducted on the preferred applicant.

Working Hours
* Permanent
part-time position
* $33.12 per hour.
In addition, superannuation is paid at 15%.
21 hours per
fortnight on a rotating roster
* Week 1: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
* Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
* Evening and
weekend work required (because that's when the magic happens)
* Start and finish
times change with the seasons
* Additional hours
may be available during peak programming and events
